Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JITER: Journal of Innovative Teaching and Educational Research undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published articles.
- Initial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial evaluation to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s scope, follows the author guidelines, and meets basic academic standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected without further review. - Plagiarism Check
All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools to ensure originality. Manuscripts with a high level of similarity will be returned to the authors or rejected. - Double-Blind Peer Review
The journal applies a double-blind review process, where both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. - Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field of learning and instruction. Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations. - Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments, the editor will make one of the following decisions:- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
- Reject
- Revision Stage
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ and editor’s comments within the specified time. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation. - Final Decision
The editor makes the final decision on the manuscript’s acceptance based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of revisions. - Publication
Accepted manuscripts will be processed for copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading before publication.
This peer review process ensures that all published articles maintain high academic standards and contribute meaningfully to the field of education.
