Publication Ethics
JITER: Journal of Innovative Teaching and Educational Research is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. All parties involved in the publishing process—authors, editors, and reviewers—are expected to adhere to ethical principles based on best practices in scholarly publishing.
1. Duties of Authors
Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should present their research accurately and objectively, without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
All authors listed in the manuscript must have made significant contributions to the research. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
2. Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript’s academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly and without discrimination.
Editors must ensure confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for their own research without the author’s consent. In cases of ethical concerns or misconduct, editors will take appropriate actions, including retraction or correction of published articles when necessary.
3. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help improve the quality of manuscripts through constructive feedback. Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide clear, evidence-based comments.
Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and must not share or use unpublished information for personal advantage. Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed, and reviewers should decline to review manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
4. Publication Integrity
The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and duplicate publication. All submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection tools to ensure originality.
If ethical misconduct is identified at any stage of the publication process, appropriate actions will be taken, including rejection of the manuscript, retraction of published articles, and notification to relevant institutions if necessary.
